My husband and I have signed up for the Madison Marathon on May 27, 2012.
This will be first official marathons for both of us (although I think he has unofficially run this much in one day).
I'm looking forward to the challenges of training and learning more about how my body handles longer distances. I think the most challenging aspect about this race will be the time it takes to train for it.
Some friends have also signed up, so looking forward to running long runs with them. 18 miles is no fun to do alone, I'm sure.
Any advice or help for a first time marathoner are greatly welcomed and appreciated!
